Fast paced, medium weight, competitive, press-your-luck,puzzler with lite-worker placement card game. Become a heist Mastermind legend!
In this card game for 2-5* players (possibly 6), players will recruit talented individuals and have them race against the other teams attempting to complete steps on the Heist cards and collect the payouts listed. These payouts turn into points at the end of the game and the player with the most wins.
The game is designed to allow for multiple play styles, and is suited for players age 10 an up.
Each round, players can choose between preparing their team with more personnel and added equipment, or running one of the available heist jobs in play.
Masterminds : Heist Society is an entertaining game that is highly re-playable, providing many hours of entertainment for you and you fellow masterminds.
NOTE: Shipping will be charged as per the campaign, closer to fulfillment.

A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL THE MASTERMINDS:
I hope you have had a chance to play the game and that you enjoy it!! According to the tracking, all shipments have been delivered. I still have 3 Masterminds that I have been trying to get in touch with to get the game into their hands. (For the love of diamonds, please finish your Backerkit surveys). To the few that had an issue, I am glad to have been able to resolve it. As this was a mostly solo distribution, I will say I learned a ton, which will make the next project smoother and faster.
The remaining Get-In-The-Game cards:
To those that did the survey and already have their cards, I hope you are enjoying your special abilities. For those that received the Note in the envelope about your GitG cards, know that your cards are being created... if you filled out the survey. I expect to have the remaining set in hand early next week, for a quick print from the factory.
A HEADS-UP: If any issues arise with the second set (more than likely picture related), I will reach out via email (or message you in here as a backup).
Preview of the INTERPOL EXPANSION
The Expansion :
So we are in process with the INTERPOL themed expansion and have begun the alpha game/rules testing. The general premise is that one player will be attempting to arrest/capture Talent cards from the masterminds before they can complete the normal number of heists. Above is a tease of a few of the ALPHA cards. I'll update again as we move through the testing process. Additionally, I'll be returning to Facebook and Instagram posting as well.

We have the goods!!
This is the public announcement that the games are here (backers already got the word earlier) and we are moving into the shipping phase of the campaign. HOORAY !! Below is the timeline and next steps so that hopefully by the end of the month, most of you can bring this game to your Game Nights!!
The shipment arrived
Timeline...
9/7 -- Finalize shipping and carriers, along with VAT/tariff charges and get BackerKit's signoff
9/10 - 9/15 -- Backerkit will be taking the shipping. Please check addresses and cards.
9/16 -- Shipping begins (details below)
What's Next...
We have already begun prepping boxes for delivery and getting the "Get-In-The-Game" cards sorted to be shipped in the box for those that ordered them. BackerKit is updated with the final shipping. For the most part, the estimates for base shipping were accurate (international rates fluctuated at the higher weights, and VATs/Tariffs are included. If you have any concerns, feel free to message us directly. It should also offer the option for "Local Pickup" for those in the Annapolis/Baltimore/DC area (message us if you have questions or to schedule a meet up).
Most orders will have a tracking number through the carrier services, and that will be emailed when the package is shipped so you can track it. Additionally, the tracking info will be included as a note on the BackerKit site.
AND LASTLY...
As for the "funny story" with customs; it would seem that there were concerns with the contents of the game boxes as they came through customs at the port. They got flagged for the gems (game pieces) inside. -HA- Just to assure everyone, though they look gorgeous, these gems are all acrylic...!
A huge THANK YOU to the backers for coming along for this ride. As it is just after midnight here (and Also my birthday), I wanted to share this present with you as we enter the last steps to completing this campaign!!

Waiting on the boat to arrive...
I'm back from being overseas and am anxiously awaiting the update from FedEx alerting me to the shipment landing in the US. Once that happens, I'll be sending everyone the "BackerKit - address confirmation etc." link and locking the orders so I can generate shipping labels. I'm also in touch with the manufacturer on this as well. Shipping from China seems to be the bane of many a KS project currently.
In the meantime, if you have a spare moment, make sure your shipping address is correct.
Note that I will post an update here in addition to sending the BackerKit emails, just so you have a date to reference.

Manufacturing is finished and the game is being shipped !
Other than that,... not much else to say.
-And sorry for the 3-day delay on this update. I was out of town and returned home to an internet outage. To everyone out there that is dealing with environmental hardships, my heart goes out to you and yours. Please be safe,... and stay hydrated in all this heat.
